I love this product because it smells light and fresh, but doesn't overwhelm. Plus, the bottle is huge!

I’m not really a perfume wearer, but Marc Jacobs Cucumber Splash is my big exception, probably because it has such a light, clean fragrance. I first tried Cucumber Splash after another beauty blogger wrote about the compliments that she got while wearing it. I like fresh scents, and cucumber has often been a favorite of mine in lotions and bath gels, so I figured I would give it a shot.

It was initially limited edition and turned out to be a bit hard to find! Stores were sold out, and so were many online sources. Finally, Marc Jacobs re-released and has kept it around, I imagine because of its growing popularity. It still can be hard to locate at times though.

Cucumber Splash is light, with a definite cucumber fragrance, but yet you won’t be walking around smelling entirely like a vegetable—it contains some light floral scents as well. Overall, it simply smells nice and fresh. I too have gotten compliments when wearing it, and I don’t recall ever getting compliments on other fragrances before. So this is my go-to fragrance. The bottle for the product is seriously huge, but you still only need to use a small amount. So it will last for quite some time, making it also a very good value, considering the designer brand name.
